Whether you just want to escape the busy city life or want to take the family on an outdoor adventure Oudebosch Guest Farm awaits guests with spectacular views and true South African hospitality - just outside Riversdal. Nestled in the shadow of the beautiful Sleeping Beauty Mountain peak

Guests can choose from any one of the luxury self catering chalets or enjoy the beautiful venue overlooking the mountains and pastures with wildlife grazing within touching distance. Guests can hike, cycle and swim.

Self Catering Accommodation

Boasting stunning views, there are three cottages that are able to accommodate four guests each. Each cottage has two bedrooms. One bedroom is fitted with a double bed and the other has two single beds. The bathroom has a bath, toilet and a basin. Bed linen and bathroom towels are provided.

The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a stove, oven, microwave, tea / coffee making facilities, toaster, a fridge / freezer and a four seater dining area where guests can enjoy their meals. The living area is furnished with comfortable furniture and and an indoor fireplace. Outside on the undercover patio there is cosy furniture, BBQ / braai facilities and an outdoor dining area.

Horse Riding
Go horse riding! Experience our beautiful and scenic surroundings with a well-trained horse and experienced guide as company. Horse riding for children: We have beautiful tame horses and children enjoy riding them while mommy or daddy leads them.

Hiking
Go for a hike in our mountain camp. Walk near to springbuck and eland and cross beautiful mountain streams.

Mountain biking
Bring your mountain bike and explore the interesting and scenic routes in the area. We provide maps and GPS coordinates for a 20km, 40km and a 80km route.

Our newly completed swimming pool provides a respite from the summer heat and hours of fun for the young and young at heart.

Children enjoy the wide open spaces, jungle jim and large green lawns to play on. Play ball with Ogies, our very energetic border collie - she throws a ball back at you… better than you can imagine! Collect free range eggs in the afternoon and feed the rabbits.
