Masescha Sunbird Cottage offers accommodation in Harkerville, only 10 minutes drive from Plettenberg Bay and 15 minutes drive from Knysna. Here in the heart of the Garden Route we are a convenient base to explore the many tourist attractions.

Self Catering Accommodation

Masescha Sunbird Cottage a light, bright, modern style brick cottage. Nestled in a private enclosed furnished patio garden which lends itself as a Pet Friendly option.

The bedroom is furnished with a Queen-size bed, wardrobe and drawers with a hairdryer and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet and basin. There is an additional single bed in the living area.

The lounge and dining area has a flat screen DSTV and book selection. Adjacent to the lounge is a fully equipped kitchen with a gas oven and 4 burner gas hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, toasted sandwich maker, iron/ironing board etc and there is a safety deposit box.

Outside there is a patio with a brick built braai (barbecue) facility where Sunbirds and Cape White Eyes can often be seen in the overhanging Bottle Brush Tree.

Sunbird overlooks the communal swimming pool and is accessed on the right-hand side as you enter the property with a parking space close by.

Dining

For those lazy days you can choose to enjoy a scrumptious full English breakfast on our main deck terrace overlooking the views (weather permitting) and a home cooked set menu dinner or light snacks are also available (served either to your room or on our main deck with fabulous views of the forest). Catering options are available on request and can be booked once you have confirmed the accommodation.
