Hakuna Matata Game Farm is a private, working game farm offering accommodation just 15 minutes from Great Brak Rivier, the N2 and the beach. This is a perfect stopover between Cape Town and Addo.
Self Catering Accommodation
We have three self catering cottages which overlooking a dam where game often roam. Each cottage at Hakuna Matata Game Farm sleeps up to six guests. The cottages feature a private deck and a braai area. They are cosy and exclusive, with limited cell phone reception and no TV.
Farm Cottage 1:
The cottage has one bedroom furnished with a double bed and a double sleeper couch in the lounge. The en-suite bathroom has a shower. There is an open plan lounge and fully equipped kitchenette.
Farm Cottage 2:
The cottage has two bedrooms; one furnished with a Queen-size bed and one with two single beds. The en-suite bathroom has a shower. There is a fully equipped kitchenette and an open plan lounge.
Farm Cottage 3:
This cottage has two bedrooms; one has an en-suite bathroom and is furnished with a double bed and the other has three single beds. There is also a single bed in the lounge. There is an additional bathroom as well as a fully equipped kitchenette, a deck and undercover braai area.
Overnight Room:
This is an ideal stopover room with an en-suite bathroom. The room has tea and coffee making facilities, a private deck and a fireplace. This room does not have kitchen facilities. It is attached to Cottage 3 but with its own entrance and privacy.

Farm Cottage 1
This cottage overlooks the dam where wildlife often drink. Featuring a private deck and communal lapa braai area. One of the original old farm buildings that we renovated. It has one bedroom with a double bed and one double sleeper couch in the lounge. The en-suite bathroom is shared and has a shower only. This unit has an open plan lounge and kitchen that is fully equipped with gas stove, microwave and fridge and all you need for a comfortable stay. It has an indoor fire place for those cozy winter nights. Smoking allowed outside on the deck and at the communal braai/BBQ area. Limited cell phone coverage for a holistic rest, free WiFi available. No TV.

Smoking allowed outside on the deck and at the communal braai/BBQ area only. Basic private braai facility provided. Limited cellphone coverage and no TV for a holistic rest. Free WiFi available.

With modern finishes this cottage is equipped with two bedrooms. The master bedroom with double bed and en-suite bathroom (shower only). This room is separate and walks out on the deck accessing the rest of the cottage. The second bedroom has 3 twin beds and a bathroom next door. The single bed in the living space doubles as a couch. The open plan living space has a kitchenette, dining table and small lounge. The kitchenette is fully equipped with gas stove, microwave, fridge with freezing space and all you need for a comfortable stay. The under roof braai/ BBQ area attached to the cottage is a family favorite. Limited cellphone coverage and no TV for a holistic rest. Free WiFi available.
