About Jubilee Creek

Jubilee Creek sits in the Knysna Forest and is most outstanding picnic spot you could imagine. The fresh green grass in the forest clearings sit on the edge of a stream and create an atmosphere that is hard to describe.

Children play in the stream, hopping along the stones and walk up and down the waters edge in search of all sorts. The tall trees do provide shade although there is also plenty of sun in the clearings to enjoy.

Exploring the forest is very exciting with an array of animals and birds to see, so take your camera with you. The Knysna elephants used to roam these forests a long time ago but are sadly no longer here... Although, the last time one was spotted was in March 2007… so you never know… you may be lucky enough to spot one of these majestic creatures.
