About Oysters R Us
There is so much variety when it comes to attractions and accommodation on the Garden Route; and that’s great news because it is a destination that demands a little extra time. It’s just special. Oysters R Us is one of these attractions, idyllically situated in the scenic Boven Lange Valley Farm.
While technically in Wilderness, this little pearl is in the heart of the pretty greenery that flanks the road between the hubs of Sedgefield and Wilderness, just about 25 minutes from both Knysna and George. Oysters R Us is a gorgeous outdoor venue that has oyster tanks that house up to 4 000 live wild oysters.
These are delicacies that can be enjoyed straight out of the water, or with lemon juice and Tabasco. In addition to these options, Oysters R Us goes a step further and offers this delicious seafood in a variety of innovative ways that transform their flavour and texture completely, even for seasoned shuckers.
The open-air restaurant means that visitors get to savour their delectable oysters while enjoying the gorgeous climate of the Garden Route. The hosts shuck the oysters at your table to guarantee the freshest dining experience, with a real difference. Travellers and locals that prefer to take fresh oysters home can collect them here and be assured of the freshest ocean flavour and delicate texture.
