This exquisite golf club, South Africa’s fourth eldest, has had the fortune of being set within the heart of Southern Africa’s famed Winelands Region, Stellenbosch. The 18 hole par 72, Championship course, as already mentioned, has over a century of history to its name and it’s also worth mentioning that it wasn’t until 1953 that Stellenbosch grew from nine holes to the eighteen it holds today.
Having hosted many prestigious events, including both the South African Open and the South African Masters, on its well-manicured kikuyu fairways, Stellenbosch can boast a course that provides a wonderful challenge to the very best as well as at the same time being an incredible adventure for the weekend golfer.
Set in the picturesque town of Stellenbosch, with its scenic valleys filled with vineyards of neighbouring farms the golf club is proud to have some of the most stunning panoramic views which can be enjoyed from the clubhouses balcony, along with some of the best locally produced wines.
The club has a full set of facilities including a driving range, golf carts, caddies, Pro-shop and PGA Qualified training professionals to help tune up your game.
The signature hole is the Par 3 7th and visitors are welcome to enjoy it but please don’t forget that bookings are absolutely essential.
