About Devon Rocks Wine Farm

Devon Rocks has established itself has a creator of fine Pinotage wines and began this journey in 2003. These wines have been produced to be enjoyed immediately but also mature beautifully years after vintage and get even better. Their portfolio expanded in 2009 when they began a Shiraz Rosé from Shiraz grapes and a Sauvignon Blanc from grapes brought in from the neighbourhood.

You can locate this wine estate in the Devon Vale area outside of Stellenbosch on a sea-facing slope. All their Pinotage grapes are handpicked from 4 hectares of quality topsoil in cool microclimate. The wine matures for 12 months in French oak barrels resulting in the great wine range you can taste today.

Most of their vintages have walked away with prestigious awards at the Michelangelo International Wine Awards. When you sample the wines of Devon Rocks, you truly taste unique South Africa as the Pinotage is a truly South African grape resulting from the crossing of Pinot Noir and Cinsault once called Hermitage.
