About Wilderness Picnics
Wilderness is a holiday hotspot along the Garden Route, famous for its pristine beaches, beautiful lakes, and surrounding mountains. Visitors that have booked accommodation in Wilderness are spoilt for choice when it comes to things to do and see in the area. An eco-friendly picnic in the heart of this picturesque setting is the perfect way to celebrate it.
The Wilderness Picnic Co. packs scrumptious picnics, which are delivered directly to you. Choose from various packages that include:
Deluxe Basket for Two
This very generous basket includes a potato and bacon salad, dukkha, cheeses, melba bites, olive oils, a Caprese salad, quiches, and double-chocolate brownies.
Waterfall Picnic for Two
This outdoor picnic includes stone-ground sourdough paninis with delicious vegetarian toppings, a Mediterranean salad, hummus, biltong, vegetable chips, trail mix, and double-chocolate brownies. A vegetarian option is available too.
The South African Experience
Sample some of the best-loved flavours of South Africa with this basket for two. It comprises roosterkoek, sorghum salad, kudu paté, vegetable chips, ostrich carpaccio, cheese, fruit kebabs, melba toast, chocolate brownies, and koeksisters.
These can be enjoyed indoors or outdoors, depending on your mood and the occasion. The picnic packaging and utensils (including the cups, plates and bowls) are eco-friendly.
Wilderness is only about 15 minutes from George and about 30 minutes from your accommodation in Knysna.
