What was once a tranquil retreat has now been transformed into a charming shopping centre with a range of unique and exciting finds. This square is characterised by its exquisite green gardens, the koi pond, and the towering milkwood trees that cast their welcome shade.

Palms Court Square is situated in Wilderness, which is a relatively small and quiet town along the world-renowned Garden Route, between Knysna and George. This puts it in the prime spot to welcome visitors en route, travelling between Cape Town and Port Elizabeth, and visiting the many towns between these two metropolises. This history of this property just seeps through every part of the experience.

There are a number of shops at the square, each of which boasts its own unique offering of arts, crafts, clothing, plants, accessories, and more. The Blind Pig taproom is on the new roof terrace, where delicious ice-cold craft beers and other drinks can be enjoyed at leisure. The tapas dishes, hot coffees and occasional live musical performances at Roxiís on the Square Restaurant are irresistible for peckish visitors looking for a laid-back vibe.

The Ciabattini Bakery, Beans About Coffee Roastery, and Evergreen Deli are fantastic places at which to find freshly baked breads and pastries, delicious roasted coffees, and all sorts of other tasty treats to take home and share with friends and family. ThriVe is known for its range of outstanding organic products.

Peace Love Spa is the ideal place to spoil yourself and have a good pampering, revitalising body and mind with relaxing body and beauty treatments. Ventura, LoveLee Things and Fusion are all little shops that sell a wonderful array of clothing, jewellery, arts and crafts. These make for stunning keepsakes and gifts for those at home. Christopher Smart designs and makes gorgeous pottery, which is unique and innovative. The Bootlegger is ideal for those with a passion for making their own beers from home, and even stocks brew kits.

Palms Garden Square has a sizeable play area for children, inviting little ones to while away the hours having loads of fun while their parents relax nearby.

Fearless Adventures and Hello Garden Route are both based at the Palms Garden Square, and are important tourist centres that can provide information and advice on what to do in the area.
