About Chase Vineyards
Once upon a time the Chase Estate formed part of the original Wildenpaardejacht outside the beautiful Paarl region in the Western Cape. For over four decades this wine estate and its offerings have been moving forward. Owned by Canadian, Richard West, who believes that his estate and its 43 hectares planted to vines, is a ‘cherished vocation’ and not simply a business. With a modern cellar with a capacity of 50 tons and exports to the USA and Europe, these wines are gaining more attention from the wine lovers of the world.
Just one example of their great wines is the Chase Cabernet Sauvignon 2006 which is the proud owner of the Veritas 2008. With its soft, ripe tannins it is a full-bodied wine with a solid acid structure. The best way to enjoy this wine is by chilling it slightly and pairing it with roasts, grills, game or pastas.
