About Point Circuit

Along the Robberg Nature Reserve in Plettenberg Bay you can take part in a 9.2 kilometer Point Circuit trail that will allow you to explore the nature reserve and see all its wonders.

Discover the magnificent rock pools and its abundant marine life during Spring Low Tide. Cormorants, Gannets and Swift Terns nest at the point and are easily spotted in large numbers. If you veer off the path you can wander to the Nelson Bay Cave, an archaeological site that is sure to amaze anyone who visits.

The views are spectacular and you are bound to spot an array of animals and plant life along the way. The trail will take around 4 hours to complete, is rather challenging and is therefore not suitable for small children.
