About Hartenbos Beach
Hartenbos Beach achieved Blue Flag status which is a great honour. This means that the beach is clean, safe and environmentally sound, which means there is no reason not for you to visit. Located close to the town of Mossel Bay and on your way to George this is a great stop along the Garden Route.
The beach is unique in the sense that it offers easy accessibility for wheelchair users by a series of ramps. The public facilities are world class with recently renovated ablution facilities and plenty of parking spots. The beach at Hartenbos itself is pristine with white sandy contrasted by the blue sea. The area offers a host of activities including water sports so there is something for the entire family.
