As its name implies, the Forest Boma is a restful, inviting eatery in the Phantom Forest of Knysna. This part of the Garden Route is exquisitely beautiful, known for its lush green vegetation and dense forests. The cool, quiet serenity of the forest makes dining at the Forest Boma a tranquil not-to-be-missed memory for tourists and locals alike.

The pace at the Forest Boma is slow and comfortable. Meals are not rushed and diners are encouraged to adopt the same attitude to savouring the moment. The ambience and food is typical of an African cultural style, while meals have a distinctly international look and feel.

There is a fire deck on which to have pre-dinner drinks, or to enjoy the meal. There are African coffees available too, which make for a novel treat.
