The Phatt Chef Restaurant, situated right at the main entrance to Clarens, is the perfect spot to settle in and enjoy superb cuisine, complimented by warm hospitality. Owner and Chef, Simon Kerr, personally engages his patrons in his colourful and inimitable manner, to lend a special flavour to the evening.
Simon Kerr’s 30 years’ experience and love of great cooking shine through. This is primarily a steakhouse and all the meats are aged for between 28 to 35 days. Try a rump, sirloin or fillet steak with splendid mustard mash and choose from a list of sauces, like roast garlic and parmesan, avocado and Dijon, or gratinéed brie and red onion marmalade. There are seafood and vegetarian alternatives on offer, together with a big dessert menu.
