Tranquility Ukuthula is situated within the lovely Ntabamoya Game Reserve and offers accommodation in Winterton between Champagne Valley and Cathedral Peak. We are 2.5 hours from Durban and 3.5 hours from Johannesburg serving as the ideal halfway vacation point.

Self Catering Accommodation

Tranquility Ukuthula is a holiday home in Winterton that is air-conditioned throughout and offers two bedrooms furnished with double beds. The rooms both have an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath, shower, toilet and basin. Three comfortable single stretchers are available for children for use in either of the two bedrooms. The home has a guest toilet and all linen and towels are provided.

The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove, oven, double-door fridge-freezer, Nespresso machine, ice machine, and a dining area. Guests have use of a washing machine with a washing line in the courtyard. The spacious living area has a central, large indoor fireplace for cold, winter evenings. The lounge area has comfortable seating, a TV with DStv and free Wi-Fi is available.

Guests can relax on the wide front stoep which has a built-in braai and a Jacuzzi and the boma offers the feeling of a bushveld braai.

On Site Facilities

Guests can visit and cool down in the communal swimming pool and use the braai facilities or visit one of the beautiful picnic spots. Guided hikes can also be arranged on request.

Winterton, a quaint village located next to the Little Thukela River, in the Central Drakensberg of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. A key gateway to the Central Drakensberg regions of the Champagne and Cathkin Valleys and Cathedral Peak. This small town has magnificent distant views of the Drakensberg Mountains, in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. Winterton is a very convenient location for the shops and has several excellent eateries such as the Pig and Plough, The Bridge, and the Winterton Country Club.
