Sunset View Cottage offers Drakensberg accommodation is an upmarket, exclusive, romantic, couples' getaway. The panoramic views of the berg are breath-taking. Sunset View is close to all amenities but is in a beautiful rural setting with spectacular views of the Giants Cup and surrounding farmlands.

Self Catering Accommodation

Sunset View Cottage is a holiday home in Underberg with one bedroom. The bedroom is furnished with a luxury Queen-size bed. The bed has hotel grade linen and an electric blanket. The en-suite bathroom is fitted with a large glass shower, toilet and basin.

The open plan living area with an upmarket design, is tastefully and thoughtfully fitted with all you need for a super comfortable stay. Double glazed windows and doors provide extra warmth and cooling. The kitchen has a gas stove / countertop halogen oven, dishwasher, electric frying pan, fridge, kettle, microwave and toaster.

There is also a new glass-fronted wood burner in the lounge to enjoy on those crisp winter nights. Wi-Fi and TV with limited satellite channels is available.

The living area leads out to an enclosed veranda with a built-in braai and beautiful stacking doors to maximize the incredible view. In the private garden is a stone firepit and outdoor braai set in the stone wall.

We have very friendly dogs, cats, chickens and donkeys on the property and they love to engage with guests when they are encouraged to do so.

Attractions

Take hikes to the river or tackle the bigger well-known hikes in the Berg, swim and have a picnic or just relax at your luxurious piece of heaven in the berg. The owners are more than happy to assist with ideas or contacts to go and eat out or tour up the pass.
