About Berghaven

Berghaven log cabin is situated in the picturesque Southern Drakensberg town of Underberg. This cosy cabin is the perfect place for a country retreat and has all you need for a great relaxing holiday.

Accommodation

The house has two rooms equipped with lovely queen sized beds, both with full en-suite. The 3rd bedroom, which leads off the main bedroom, has two single beds and shares the bathroom. All rooms are tastefully decorated.

The 4th Bedroom is downstairs with an external entrance and has a single bed and a double sleeper couch with an en-suite bathroom. All beds have a duvet, blanket and relevant linen. Towels are not provided; therefore please bring your own. Each bedroom is equipped with a panel heater.

The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge / freezer, microwave, electric stove with oven, kettle, toaster and all the cutlery and crockery needed. The living area has a TV and DVD player, as well as DStv. A gas braai is on the upper deck for those hassle free dinners.

Service

A cleaning service is available on request. For those who are booking long stays, we can arrange the washing of clothes for a nominal fee.

The cabin itself is wonderful, well maintained and fully equipped with all the creature comforts. Clean and spacious...very happy. Unfortunately it sits off the main road, which has a constant stream of traffic, especially large container vehicles and trucks. This makes sitting outdoors noisy and unpleasant. In a different location, it would tick all the boxes.
