Willowbrooke is a fifty acre estate and the country home of your hosts Alan and Michele Howard with Landscaped gardens which flank a two hectare trout dam reserved exclusively for the use of our guests

Willowbrooke is only 1km off the main Underberg / Himeville Sani Rd. It is within walking distance of the Himeville airfield.

Self Catering Accommodation

Willowbrooke offers guests a comfortable, unforgettable experience in a fully equipped and serviced self-catering cottage made of Cyprus wood and thatch with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and your own private Jacuzzi.

Rustic open wooden staircase with balustrade lead to the loft bedroom with stunning views over Willowbrooke Dam. Enjoy your meals in the open plan living area under a vaulted thatched roof or on the patio.

• Trout fishing - Willowbrooke Cottage is on the banks of a well-stocked two- hectare trout dam. The dam is fed year-round by pristine springs rising from the hillside and supplemented by summer rainfall. The rainbow trout that thrive in this healthy ecosystem grow quickly and fight hard! Fishing is controlled and the dam is carefully monitored. Guests are required to pay a rod-fee of R150pp per day upfront, dawn to dusk, catch and release and adhere to the daily bag limit. 3 rods maximum on the dam at any one time, your own equipment is essential. A rowing boat is available as well as a Canoe at no extra charge
• Walking & birding - both being relaxing and popular pursuits. The gardens a delight where guests can enjoy with a dam meters away with a variety of waterfowl as well as other birds. There are a few secluded spots with benches where you can settle down with a good book.
