Thula Thula Cottage is a two-sleeper holiday cottage in Northern Drakensberg offered on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis.

The open plan cottage sleeps two guests. The sleeping area is furnished with a King-size bed and the en-suite bathroom is fitted with a shower, toilet and basin.

There is a log fireplace in the open plan sitting area and the kitchenette is only equipped with heat and eat facilities including a microwave, fridge, toaster, and kettle.

Outside there is a patio area with a table and chairs and sensational views.

Dining

Breakfast and dinner are included in the rates and delivered to your cottage with a smile.

Experience

Activities you can indulge in at the Berghouse include hiking, horse riding, fishing, four-wheel drive routes, mountain bike trails, bird watching, river swim, tube, and canoe; paraglide and hang-glide take off site is available (equipment not supplied).

Experience a mountain atmosphere with breathtaking views, described as the "IMAX Views" of the Drakensberg. View the Tugela Falls, the second highest waterfall in the world.

An abundance of wildlife occurs at the Berghouse Cottages, including various species of antelope such as the Drakensberg Eland, Mountain Reedbuck, Grey Rhebuck, Bush Buck as well as the Grey duiker. Other wild animals to look out for are Porcupine, Grey Mongoose, Gennet, Serval Cat, African Wild Cat, Lynx and the ever elusive Leopard. Bird life is also in abundance. Wildflowers are a sight to behold, the best time of the year to view flowers is from mid-October to March.

Miniature horses recently staked their claim on the property, much amusement can be experienced watching them as they run around with their tails in the air.
