About Rest Assured Guest House
Rest Assured Guest House was one of the first guest houses in Kokstad. It has been in operation for many years and has seen guests from all walks of life pass through its doors and leave rested and relaxed.
The house itself is over 130 years old and was built by the first magistrate in the area. The guest house is a perfect stop for affordable lodging with the comfort of home.
Our friendly staff is here to assist you and prioritize your comfort. We are situated in a peaceful and safe residential area, just a few blocks from shopping centres, restaurants, a golf course and much more.
Accommodation
We have nine modern rooms which are serviced on a daily basis. The rooms have en-suite bathrooms and some rooms have bar fridges. Self catering facilities are available.

We feel that for the amount we paid we received extremely mediocre accommodation. Rest Assured requires maintenance in all areas. Cracked handbasin, tap on bath loose, mattress exceptionally soft, a kettle that was no where near a plug point. The towels are old and very thin and we didn't even have a hand towel. Feather pillows are a bad choice - I for one am extremely allergic. The wifi only being in the lounge is unacceptable - I most certainly will not sit in a lounge full of people doing my business or banking. Why not in the rooms? And this was in the room that we moved to after our given room was totallly unacceptable - dark, damp and only a toilet window for air. R675 is excessive for this quality and no breakfast.
