We depart at seven o'clock after coffee and rusks served at the hangar, overlooking Stellenbosch and the surrounding mountains. Weather dependant we will either fly through the Paarl Valley over Bainskloof Pass or over Franschhoek.

After the Breede River Valley, the landscape changes from winelands to Karoo plains, mountain peaks and hidden valleys. In Prince Albert, we start with a breakfast, followed by a wine or olive tasting in the district. Back in Prince Albert lunch can be enjoyed at one of the many sidewalk cafes in town and there will be the opportunity to browse through the many interesting shops and art galleries.

After the excursion we depart over the Swartberg Pass, fly over the Overberg region descending over the Sir Lowry's Pass back to Stellenbosch Airfield where a transfer will take you back to your hotel in Stellenbosch.
