Celebratio offers Karoo self catering on a pomegranate farm halfway between Calitzdorp and Oudtshoorn on the R328 and is perfect for day excursions to the wine farms of Calitzdorp, surrounding ostrich farms, the Gamka Game Reserve, the Cango Caves and Oudtshoorn.

Self Catering Accommodation

Celebratio comprises of two cottages and a farmhouse that all have fully equipped kitchens, open plan living areas and private braai areas. There is complimentary tea, coffee and rusks. DStv is available upon request. Bed linen and bathroom towels are provided.

The cottages and farmhouse overlook a pool and is perfect for watching the sun set over the pomegranate orchard...or light a fire and enjoy a perfect braai or outside dinner with friends. On hot summer days you can enjoy sunbathing at the pool, or simply relax on the patio.

The old farmhouse has been beautifully restored providing spacious accommodation for a group of friends or family and sleeps, eight guests. The kitchen still boasts the original coal stove, although a gas stove has been installed for guests' convenience. The patio overlooks a pool and is perfect for watching the sunset over the pomegranate orchard. The farmhouse has three en-suite bedrooms; one with a King-size bed, the other a Queen-size bed and the third have four three-quarter beds. There is an open plan living area, undercover stoep area with dining room table and lounges at the braai. DStv is available at an additional charge and must be booked prior to your arrival.

The farm looked quite bleak when we arrived at the vast warehouses but we were warmly welcomed and our cottage was charming and well equipped. We enjoyed our complimentary pomegranate and ordered more immediately. We would have loved to linger a little longer.
