Asher Stable Stay is situated on a farm, previously known for its much-loved horses. Set at the foot end of the Swartberg Mountains, the accommodation is only 5.5km from a small village and 10km from Meiringspoort, the gateway that connects the Little Karoo and the Great Karoo.

Asher Stable Stay is 23km from Rust and Vrede Waterfall, 36km from the world-renowned Cango Caves and 57km to the top of the Swartberg Pass. Activities include hiking, cycling, bird watching and freshwater fishing in the Stoomdrift Dam.

Rooms are good with AC. Communal kitchen very good with everything you might need for self catering. They even supply the wood and firelighters if you want to braai. Will definitely tell our friends.
