Overnight? Stay at accommodation in Cape Point, in Western Cape

Aptly named after the magnificent vessel that met its end at the Cape of Good Hope after a battle against the elements, the Flying Dutchman Funicular is a cable drawn railway that allows visitors a comfortable and easy way of reaching Cape Point.

The walk up is rather steep but beautiful, where as the flying Dutchman is wheelchair friendly and perfect for little children too and will offer you spectacular views over the rocky cliffs, the stunning sea, coves, beaches, fynbos and the rest of the coastline.

The track is 585 meters long and is one of those ‘must do’ experiences while in Cape Town.
