The Tarragon provides comfortable accommodation on an expansive property of more than 8000 square metres, situated within the exclusive and secure Tarragona area of Hout Bay in Cape Town. The property features beautifully maintained landscaped gardens, a generous swimming pool, a well-appointed braai area with impressive views, and tranquil koi ponds.

Guests can enjoy a distinct sense of space and calm, while still being within a short three-minute walk from the slopes of Table Mountain. The grounds are frequently visited by local wildlife, including peacocks, Egyptian geese, cormorants, butterflies, and dragonflies, adding to the natural charm of the setting.

Self Catering Accommodation

Accommodation is offered in private guest cottages, each designed to accommodate between two and six adults. Every cottage is fully self-contained and includes a modern bathroom, a kitchen or kitchenette suited for self-catering, a comfortable living area, and a private outdoor terrace. Each unit is equipped with a flat-screen television offering selected DStv channels, a hairdryer, a digital safe, and complimentary Wi-Fi access, while quality linen and towels are provided for guest convenience.

On Site Facilities

The property provides secure off-street parking for all guests. A laundry service, including washing and ironing, is available on request. The cottages are serviced daily, with the exception of Sundays and public holidays. Additional services can be arranged at an extra cost, including babysitting, massage treatments, and airport transfers.

Ideally positioned in Hout Bay, the property offers convenient access to a variety of attractions and activities in the surrounding area. Guests can explore scenic walking trails on Table Mountain, enjoy the nearby beaches, or visit the vibrant harbour with its selection of restaurants and local markets. The location also allows for easy day trips along Chapman’s Peak Drive and to the many highlights of Cape Town.
