Stylish and elegant, Cape Diem Lodge Boutique Hotel captures the spirit of the lifestyle and the rich heritage of South Africa's 'mother city' under one roof.
Dating back to 1874 and part of the historic Green Point Farm, Cape Diem Lodge is close to several restaurants, bars, shops and only minutes from the most popular attractions in Cape Town. The design has been inspired by many of the famous European and young South African designers.
Accommodation
Cape Diem Lodge Boutique Hotel features contemporary designed rooms with historic Oregon pine floors and high ceilings. You can choose from one of the classic or superior rooms with over-sized beds, each sleeping two persons.
Decorated to be fresh, sophisticated and elegant, the rooms offer high-quality amenities such as walk-in shower and bathtub, slippers and bathrobes, flat screen television with DVD / CD, wireless internet access, mini bar, Nespresso and tea making facilities, digital safe and self controllable air-conditioning.
Breakfast & Dining
The Cape Diem “super” breakfast is served daily from 07h00 to 10h30. Pool snacks and drinks are available "as long as the sun is shining" and complimentary afternoon tea is served.
Lodge Facilities
In the heart of the lodge, you will be able to relax in the stylish but cosy lounge and enjoy the latest magazines and books, enjoy a glass of South African wine while working on your notebook or warm-up in front of the open fireplace during the winter.
The main playground is the Mediterranean landscaped garden and pool deck area. Here, you can enjoy a well deserved day of rest and enjoy the world famous sundowner from our elevated terrace in the early evenings.
Secure and complimentary parking is available, however, due to limited space, cannot be guaranteed. Additionally, secure underground parking is available nearby at a small daily charge.

A really nice boutique Hotel. The staff was great and very friendly owners, they did everything to make us feel welcome and at home. Lovely pool, easy 20 minutes walk to waterfront, safe neighborhood.

Just a quick thank you, for making us feel most at home in Cape Diem Lodge. You guys do such a great job in making sure we get the best out our short stays in your wonderful city. The hospitality offered by all the staff is exceptional. We do hope some time in the future to visit again, but it will be at least 2 years away. If you do end up in Melbourne sometime, don't hesitate to drop as line by email.
