A toposcope is basically a monument that is dedicated to people or past events and sits on hills or mountains in various locations. They indicate directions and distances to certain landmarks around the area.

The Bathurst toposcope is placed in the spot where the British settlers were investigated in 1820. You will find information here about their ships, departure ports etc and much more.
