About Porkys

Porkys has been running for 17 years and offers comfortable accommodation in Gonubie. We started the Guest House with just two rooms and grew over the years to the seven rooms we offer today. We are always improving to make our guests stay as comfortable as possible.

Accommodation

Porkys is a guest house in Gonubie with seven individually decorated, air-conditioned rooms. Each room has a private entrance and is furnished with a King-size bed that can be made up as two single beds if preferred. The en-suite bathroom is fitted with a shower, toilet and basin.

Rooms are equipped with a TV with 6 satellite channels, as well as tea and coffee making facilities. There is a fridge and a microwave to heat up meals.

Dining

Our breakfasts are made fresh when ordered, or you can opt for a packed breakfast or lunch. Dinner is available on request.

On Site Facilities

There are braai facilities and a swimming pool. We are completely off-the-grid so you will still be able to use the Wi-Fi and watch TV even during load shedding. Secure parking is provided.

Attractions

Gonubie Beach not only has a wonderful boardwalk that provides fantastic views across the sea, but the river mouth provides hours of beachcombing, man-made tidal pools and abundant vegetation. After your day at the beach, stop off at the local eatery or pub that welcome board short-wearing sun-lovers strolling in off the beach. Have a bite to eat and sip on your cool drinks while watching the sunset.
