About The Jackalope

The Jackalope is a lovely self-catering duplex, located in the Clapton Beach complex within the secure Marina Martinique residential development between Jeffreys Bay and Aston Bay in the Eastern Cape.

Self Catering Accommodation

The Jackalope has three bedrooms. The first bedroom is furnished with a double bed. The second room has a tri-bunk bed with a double bottom bunk and a single top bunk. The third bedroom is furnished with a bunk bed. The shared bathroom is fitted with a shower, toilet and basin. There is also a guest toilet.

The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering with a stove and oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, and a washing machine. The dining area contains a 6-seater dining table and chairs. The lounge offers seating and a Smart TV with access to YouTube and Netflix. Free Wi-Fi is available.

The living area opens to a patio with a built-in braai.

Secure parking is available for 1 vehicle per unit.

On Site Facilities

Guests have access to the communal swimming pool in the complex and the canal that leads to the back of Marina Martinique. A remote-controlled gate in front of the complex leads to the beach. Guests can bring their own pedal boat, ski, or kayak or can hire a pedal boat to row in the 7km long canal. There are restaurants, play parks, outdoor gym and 24hr security on site.

Attractions

Once you have experienced a cruise on the 5km of channels at the Marina or an hour or two of fly fishing after breakfast, perhaps followed by a leisurely stroll along the kilometres of sandy beach, you can lunch at one of the two beachfront restaurants Tapas & Walskipper. There is also the prospect of cocktails at Marina Nina's with friends on the Blue Flag beach while the kids are enjoying the paddleboats and any of the other kids activities.
