About Pomeroy Lodges

Enjoy peace and tranquility at Pomeroy Lodges on this private game and nature reserve. Experience the thrill of a walking safari and the opportunity to see South African wildlife and birds, close up in their natural habitat. At dusk wait to see which of the game comes to graze around the lodge and then relax on the stoep watching the sun dip down over the horizon.

Once night has fallen be amazed by the display of Southern stars, in the clear unpolluted night sky. This is truly an idyllic place to relax and unwind with the gentle noise of the sea in the distance.

Self Catering Accommodation

Pomeroy Lodges offers accommodation in Kleinemonde in five chalets. Four of the thatched lodges sleeps up to four persons in one double and one twin bedroom, and Lynx, our premium family lodge, sleeps six.

The kitchens are all fully fitted with a gas stove, microwave and fridge freezer as well as a selection of crockery, cutlery and utensils. There is a spacious, fully furnished living and dining area and outside braai facilities.

Things to Do

There is plenty to do on the reserve and in the surrounding areas. Activities include game viewing, guided or unaccompanied walking safaris and birding walks. There are a number of well maintained tracks and paths, which make the reserve accessible.

Spend some time relaxing by the dams or bird watching in the strategically placed hides. There is no dangerous game however all wild animals should be treated with caution and respect as their behaviour can be unpredictable.
