Situated on the world-famous Baviaanskloof Route and close to the hamlets of Loerie, Hankey and Patensie, this beautiful farm has been home to the Williams family for the past 150 years.

Self Catering Accommodation

Kroonarend is a perfect stone family chalet accommodating six guests and has spectacular views over the hills and valleys.

The main bedroom is furnished with a double bed and a second bedroom has two single beds. In addition there are two single beds in the living room. The inside bathroom is fitted with a shower, toilet and basin and there is also an outside bathroom fitted with a bath, shower, toilet and basin.

The chalet is air conditioned and has a fireplace for the chilly winter months. There is a kitchenette equipped with a microwave, fridge and tea / coffee making facilities. The sitting area is comfortably furnished. Facilities include fans, a braai area and free Wi-Fi (at the main farmhouse).

Activities and Attractions

The farm is situated in the scenic Gamtoos Valley where rivers, waterfalls and rolling hills abound. It is a nature-lovers paradise. Activities include hiking, bird watching, stargazing, visiting the African Dawn Bird Sanctuary, enjoying time at the Jeffreys Bay Bike Park, surfing at J-Bay and horse riding at Papiesfontein.
