Soutelande is a charming bed and breakfast cottage that can be a perfect start or end to your Garden Route holiday. This 2-bedroom cottage offers accommodation in Lovemore Park that is completely independent and is ideal for up to four guests.

Accommodation

Soutelande is a cottage in Lovemore Park with two bedrooms. The first bedroom is furnished with a Queen-size bed and the other bedroom has two single beds which can be converted to a King on request. Each room has a beautiful view over the green garden. We have a camp-cot and feeding chair available. The bathroom is fitted with a shower, toilet and basin.

The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, including all the necessities to prepare a lavish dinner and is equipped with a gas hob. All basic ingredients in the kitchen can be used such as olive oil and vinegar, pepper and salt, butter, coffee and tea, coffee milk, sugar, eggs and some extra small snacks. There is a dining table and a comfortable lounge area.

The cottage has a private balcony with a lounge set, the perfect spot to enjoy your first morning coffee. It also comes with a patio covered by the shade of the old tree which includes dining table/seats, bench and hammock.

Dining

A breakfast basket is included in the rates. We also have a firepit with grid if you would like to experience a South African braai (BBQ). You can order a local braai pack if you would like to.

Attractions

You are more than welcome to explore the farm. Come and help us feed the chickens in the morning or go to the donkeys for a cuddle. Kindly note that our chickens roam freely. We will keep our dog Jaap in the private area. The donkeys have their own paddock. We are situated in a conservancy and some harmless little wild creatures may enter the farm such as peacocks, mongoose and vervet monkeys.

Maud is a super hostess! Always available, super friendly and helpful. She gave us tips for our trip to Addo Elephant Park as well as other tips about Port Elizabeth. The cottage is perfect for families. Our son enjoyed the large garden and the animals very much. We loved enjoying a wine on the porch at sunset at night. The beautiful beach (Sardinia Bay Beach) can be reached in just a few minutes by car.
