Cove Rock Country Estate lies within the Cove Rock Conservancy, a stone's throw away from the beach. It is bordered to the northeast by the Hickman's River and stretches southwest for a kilometre along the sun-drenched Wild Coast of the Eastern Cape.

The Estate is close to East London, now known as Buffalo City, close to the East London's Industrial Development Zone, less than 6 minutes drive from the Airport, and 10 minutes from the nearest shopping centre in Greenfields. The city centre is a mere 15 minutes away.
