About Benri B&B
Benri B&B and Self Catering is situated in Gonubie, a popular holiday resort on the Eastern Cape Coast, approximately 20km from East London. The swimming beach of Gonubie is one of the few beaches in South Africa that has been awarded Blue Flag status, ensuring a very clean and safe beach, especially for children. The well known "boardwalk" is a great attraction, giving a person the feeling of almost "walking on the water".
Benri B&B and Self Catering is situated in Oceanway, which runs along the shore. It is here that fishermen, joggers and strollers can relax away from the city's hustle and bustle.
Accommodation
The three level guesthouse comprises of one self-catering unit and three bed and breakfast rooms. The penthouse, a two bedroom unit with a breathtaking 270 degree sea view, takes pride of place on the top level. The B&B units, both with sea views and large balconies are on the second level.
Each room has a flat screen TV with DSTV (selected channels), aircon or ceiling fan, hairdryer, bar fridge, microwave, kettle and coffee / tea facilities. From the spacious living area on the second level with its wide balconies and panoramic views guests can relax and enjoy watching the dolphins and whales.
The penthouse, a two bedroom unit with breath taking 270 degree sea views, takes pride of place on the top level. This apartment has a fully equipped kitchen with stove, hob, microwave oven and fridge. In the enclosed braai area, also with a seaview, one can have a braai even if the weather is bad.
Service
Benri's owners and Hosts, Ben and Riëtte, are assisted by receptionist Daisy and Julia and our breakfast chef Phindie who is renowned for her scrumptious breakfasts, whilst Dolly, Sylvia, Conzi & Nandi are a great help cleaning rooms and assisting Phindie with the preparation of breakfast. As a visitor to Benri you will experience quick and efficient service and staff that are determined to make our guests feel at home.
