About Wine Tasting At Blouvlei
At Blouvlei, its all about the workers. Blouvlei is situated in the heart of Wellington, here the employees play an integral part in the production of the wines, are all shareholders in the business and are involved in all aspects of the vineyard, including sales. Blouvlei was started up by Stephan du Toit some years ago. He has also had Mont du Toit Vineyards since 1996. Blouvlei is supported fully by Mont du Toit and its staff.
Blouvlei produces a Sauvignon Blanc a dry Rosé and a Cabernet Sauvignon / Merlot blend. They are perfect for easy, everyday drinking. All the red wines are made in Mont du Toit Cellars using grapes form Mont du Toit vineyards. Even though the wines from both vineyards are made by the same method, Blouvlei’s wines were designed to be had at an earlier date.
