About Three Anchor Bay Beach
Its a tiny beach! Really small and mostly used by locals who use the beach to launch their motor boats and sea kayaks. They paddle out to sea from here and kayak all the way to Clifton.
Three Anchor Bay beach is mostly covered with mussel shells thrown up by the ocean so not ideal if you want to sink your feet into soft, white, powdery sand, but for water sport enthusiasts it's a great beach, in part because of the slipway from the car park.
Plenty of space to park your vehicle and then take to the sea from this little beach. Why not try Kayaking on the Atlantic Seaboard? Its a fabulous afternoon out on the sea with views of Cape Town to die for!
