About Dunstone Wines
Dunstone Wines was built and established in 2006. Abbi and Lee lived and became engaged on the farm Dunstone in the UK. This romantic background, all the stones on the farm, and the family's Weimaraner, Shiraz, gave birth to a perfect name and logo for Dunstone Wines! The Owners decided to Embark on a South African Adventure and so left the UK in 2002.
This small family run vineyard is set at the foot of the Hawequa and Limiet Mountains where the grapes are handpicked and sorted, pressed the traditional way and matured for 16 months. All the maintenance and care of the vineyard is done by hand so you will not find one piece of machinery here. Come to the Cellar to sample some of our lovingly made wines including our Dunstone Sauvignon Blanc, Shiraz Rose, Merlot and Shiraz. While here why not stay for a bite to eat in our stunning stone kitchen restaurant, where you can enjoy both South African and British favourite classic dishes.
