Linga Lapa is a farm stall with a difference. Instead of the small, quaint and rustic getaway in the middle of nowhere that some have come to know, this is a veritable emporium. In fact, it even has its own coffee shop and pub, giving everyone something to see and do. It is situated in the Natal Midlands, where the South African landscapes are breath-taking in their beauty. Conveniently, it is just off the N3 motorway at the Nottingham Road exit. This makes it accessible and easy to find.
The Linga Lapa Farm Stall is a family-run business, and the commitment and passion behind it resonate in the welcoming ambience of the stall. It is renowned for its biltong, which is made at the farm stall and especially for the Linga Lapa customers. It is fresh, tasty and a local delicacy that will certainly be remembered. The butchery is also well known for its excellent wors (South African sausage) and other meats. The bakery at Linga Lapa has earned a good reputation for its delicious fresh breads and pies.
In addition, those with a palate for the finer things in life will love sampling the frozen berries, Ballina ice cream, Kamberg trout, coffee, and Indezi River cheese on offer here. Added to this, beer brewed at the local Nottingham Road Brewing Company is on sale at the farm stall, and makes for an awesome taste experience for those that enjoy a cool, crisp ale or lager from time to time.
Other goods on sale include Nguni hides, plants, clothing for the ladies, furniture, and rugs. These combine to make for an all-round experience for visitors and locals alike.
