Waterford Lodge is a comfortable Dargle holiday home offering accommodation on the star Dam estate. The lodge boasts a private jetty facilitating access to the water so why not hire one of our fishing boats for the day or bring your canoe or ski along.

Self Catering Accommodation

Waterford Lodge is open-plan living at its best. The easy flow between kitchen, lounge, dining room and deck ensures that guests feel connected to one another.

The living area of the main house is flanked by two double bedrooms, each with a full en-suite bathroom. A third en-suite bedroom is situated on a raised platform between the main house and adjacent dormitory wing.

The self-contained dormitory unit specially created for kids and teens includes two rooms with three single beds in each room (six beds in total), two bathrooms, a kids' lounge and eating area, making this the ideal choice for a fun family getaway.

This home includes a fantastic braai and entertainment area overlooking the dam and the heated plunge pool on the deck can be enjoyed throughout the winter. Waterford is equipped with a TV with satellite channels.

Please note:
SUV or 4x4's are required to access the road to Star Dam Estate.

Activities

• Horse rides and boats are charged an additional fee.
• Horse riding - with an abundance of scenic trails, our guide, Elliot will take you on a guided tour of Inhlosane Farm.
• Mountain biking - there are stunning trails to explore and enjoy.
• Fishing / boating - there are three fishing boats for hire. Perfect for fly fishing or as a fun way to explore the dam.

Should you arrive after 19h00 you will be charged R100.00. Should you arrive after 21h00 you will be charged R600.00. Should you arrive after 22h00 you will forfeit your nights accommodation. These charges will be deducted from your breakage deposit of R1000.00 which needs to be paid by EFT prior to arrival, this is refunded in part or in full by EFT, depending on breakages incurred during your stay, within 10 working days after your departure.
