Crane at Beacon Vlei Holiday Home in Balgowan sleeps six guests in two bedrooms. Both rooms are furnished with a King-size bed and each have an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet and basin. There is a double sleeper couch in the living area.

There is a very large open plan kitchen, dining room and living room. It has a large face brick fireplace, a double sleeper couch in the lounge and a TV with DStv.

It has two dining tables one inside and one outside on the veranda. It comes equipped with braai facilities.

Pets

Small pets allowed for a small fee per pet, per night (only one pet per cottage).

Recreation

Guests need not leave the farm to enjoy Bass fishing, birding, boating or a picnic after a leisurely walk around beautiful Beacon Vlei. Other outdoor activities that can be arranged in the surrounding countryside include, mountain biking, horse riding, canopy tours, battlefield tours and even paragliding.

Our 23 hectare private dam provides excellent Bass fishing for all levels of ability, we provide boats for guests to use and life jackets, please bring your own rods and tackle. Although bass can be caught throughout the year, the best times for fishing are from September until May.
