11 Karkloof is situated in the Natal Midlands, nestled amongst the best single tracks in Southern Africa and only 6.5km from Howick on the Karkloof Road. The property was previously an old mushroom farm which adds to the charm of its rustic self catering units.
Self Catering Accommodation
The accommodation, which has been brought back to life from the original mushroom farm staff quarters, is comprised of five uniquely finished self catering cottages or apartments each sleeping four, the Round House which sleeps 12 and Falls House which sleeps 15.
Each unit boasts spectacular views, is self contained and fully furnished with 100% cotton linen and bath towels. There is a fully equipped kitchen.
Activities and Attractions
The property is the ideal starting point for mountain biking, within close proximity to quaint Howick restaurants and shopping centres, the Karkloof Polo Club, Karkloof Canopy Tours, Karkloof Falls and Karkloof Conservancy making it the ideal birders destination.
All in all this weekend breakaway spot makes the perfect location for the whole family and people from all walks of life. Situated on the outskirts of the infamous Midlands Meander allows for perfect day trips exploring all the meander has to offer.
