About Waterford Manor

Waterford Manor is a four star Bed and Breakfast which also offers self-catering in Natal Midlands. Waterford Manor is situated on a 10-hectare property on the Mooi River, just outside the small village of Rosetta, in the picturesque and serene KwaZulu Natal Midlands. We are 8kms from Nottingham Road and 12kms from Mooi River. We have 700 metres of Mooi River frontage with many idyllic spots for fly fishing and picnicking.

Accommodation

Our suites are the most luxurious units, so if you are looking for a special weekend away, these are highly recommended. Our cottages are slightly more basic, but very comfortable. All units have DStv, heaters, electric blankets and their own entrance.

The property has indigenous forest, with magnificent trees andabundant wildlife species, and walking trails for the enjoyment of guests. The swimming pool with a wooden deck and braai lapa overlook the river, and is available for guest use and comfort.

Dining

We serve a full English breakfast. There is a selection of yogurts, fruit and cereals to start. Then we serve a plated main course consisting of tomatoes roasted with basil, mushrooms sautéed in rosemary, bacon, sausages and eggs. There are always croissants / muffins, coffee / tea and fruit juice. The main course does vary slightly when guests stay longer than one night.

Come and enjoy country hospitality where you can enjoy a swim in the pool or river, have a braai or sundowners at the pool and deck area overlooking the river and rolling hills, and catch a glimpse of the Drakensberg.
