Attractions

The most well-known landmark for the town is Howick Falls – the Umgeni River falling approximately 95m over cliffs en route to the Indian Ocean. If abseiling down the Falls is not your thing, then a beautiful viewing platform is situated above the Falls for some magnificent views.

There is a safe trail which leads down to the pools below, however, the walk is a steep one and not for the fainthearted, and remember you have to walk back up!
