Ilanda Wilds Nature Reserve is a petite yet effervescent ground of nature that runs along the banks of the Amanzimtoti River.

A recorded 300 species of bird life makes the reserve a popular bird watching destination, and continues to add to the vibrant life within the reserve. The birds make their homes in more than 120 tree and shrub species including some of the rarest such as the Natal Elm and the Fluted Milkwood tree.

On route through well guided and easy to follow trails (Loerie, Mpiti and Mongoose trails) look out for cape clawless otter, small antelope, chameleons, monkeys and a wide variety of other animals such as butterflies, frogs and fish.

The 20 ha reserve invites an incredible experience along with picnic and braai facilities for more enjoyment.
