About Pierlynne Holiday House

Pierlynne is a spacious double-storey holiday home with an additional garden cottage, ideally located in Uvongo on the KwaZulu-Natal South Coast. Set within a large, well-maintained garden, the property enjoys partial sea views and is approximately 250 metres from Uvongo's popular swimming beach. It is also conveniently close to the neighbouring coastal towns of Manaba, Margate, and Shelly Beach, making it an excellent choice for a relaxing seaside getaway.

Self Catering Accommodation

The property offers two self-catering holiday units, occupying the upper and lower levels of the house. Both units are identical in layout and facilities, while each has its own private entrance for added convenience and privacy. Guests may also book the two-room garden cottage, situated alongside the carport, for an additional fee arranged directly with the host. Each house unit accommodates up to six guests, while the garden cottage is suitable for two guests. Undercover parking is provided for one vehicle per unit.

For larger groups booking both the upper and lower units, an internal connecting door can be unlocked on request, allowing easy access between the two levels.

Each self-catering unit features a bright sunroom lounge, an open-plan living and dining area, and a fully equipped kitchen with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Entertainment includes Wi-Fi and a DStv decoder with the Premium package. There are three bedrooms in each unit, the main bedroom is furnished with a double bed, while the remaining two bedrooms each contain two single beds. The modern bathroom includes a bath, shower, wash basin, and toilet, and there is also a separate guest toilet with a hand basin.

The garden cottage offers comfortable accommodation for two guests. It comprises a bedroom with a double bed and an en-suite shower and wash basin, while the toilet is separate. Linen and bath towels are provided for guests' convenience. The front living area incorporates a kitchenette equipped with a two-plate electric hob, microwave, bar fridge, kettle, toaster, crockery, cutlery, and essential kitchen utensils. Please note that the cottage does not have a television.

Guests requiring accommodation for up to eight people can book the lower-level unit together with the garden cottage, subject to an additional charge.

On Site Facilities

Shared facilities include a laundry equipped with a front-loading washing machine and tumble dryer, as well as an outdoor hot shower, ideal for rinsing off after a day spent at the beach. Each unit has its own private braai area, complete with a stainless steel braai grid and stand, providing the perfect setting for outdoor dining.

A covered parking bay is allocated to each unit. For added peace of mind, every unit is fitted with its own independent alarm system, supported by armed response from Maser Security.

Nearby attractions include Lucien Beach, Uvongo Beach, and Margate Beach, all renowned for swimming, surfing, and family-friendly activities. Guests can also explore the Margate Art Museum and Gaze Gallery, visit the fascinating Pure Venom Reptile Park, or enjoy scuba diving and diving courses at Aqua Planet Dive Centre.
