The kitchen is fully equipped for self catering and has lovely garden and sea views. There is a separate scullery area off the kitchen. The lounge has a flat screen TV with Netflix and Spotify. Wi-Fi is available. A single bed can be set up in the lounge for a third guest. The lounge leads out onto a patio area in the private garden with seating and braai facilities.

The cottage is fitted with an alarm that can be activated whilst you are out. A lockup single garage is available for parking.

The Area

Umkomaas is best known as a launch site for trips out to Aliwal Shoal, one of the top dive sites in the world. Two nearby shipwrecks the MV Produce and SS Nemo are popular with recreational divers. From June to October whales are a regular sighting along the shoreline as they migrate to calf in warmer waters.
