Amazing horse rides in the Cape Town farmlands. Come enjoy nature on horseback – relax and soak up the fresh air and sun.
Mountain View Horse Trails offer beautiful, scenic 1 hour and 2 hour horse trails in the Western Cape - Botterberg / Philadelphia area. Guided by experts and accompanied by our most gentle- natured horses, these trail rides will lead you through scenic routes and beautiful farmland. No experience needed.
For more experienced riders, we offer half-day (15km) and full-day (30km) horse trails through some gorgeous vineyards and fields on neighbouring farms – with a picnic or lunch stop included. Chat to us about any special dietary requirements – we aim to cater for all.
And what great photo opportunities with the iconic Table Mountain as your back-drop! Picture perfect!
Mountain View Horse Trails is located only 12km from Table View / 25min. from Cape Town city centre.
Come join us and relax while riding over pastures, through vineyards and soak up the fresh air while enjoying the Cape Town landscape on horseback....
Requirements:
• Wearing comfortable cargo pants or jeans are strongly advised as shorts may cause chaffing on the legs
• Sneakers or ‘tekkies’ as footwear – please no flops or sandals in order to protect your feet
• Cape Town gets hot in summer so remember to use a strong UV sunblock
