The spectacular blues and greens of the ocean crash on cliff faces and lap lazily on stretches of beach along this beautiful part of the South African coastline. The trail that takes visitors along this breath-taking piece of landscape is the Cape Point to Cape of Good Hope Trail, and promises an easy, but unforgettable, experience. This is an out-and-return trail that is only three kilometres long. It usually takes about two hours to complete.
The trail begins at Cape Point, which is equipped with a restaurant, curio shop, and ablution facilities. From here, visitors will walk through magnificent fynbos until they reach the impressive cliffs that loom over Dias Beach. After continuing through stunning surrounds and showcasing the Cape to perfection, the trail takes walkers to the Cape of Good Hope, which is the southernmost tip of the peninsula.
