Not far from Port Edward on the South Coast of KwaZulu Natal is the very outstanding Palm Beach. Situated near the Umtamvuna Nature Reserve it offers stunning scenery, an abundance of birdlife and you may even be able to spot small animals.

There are some lovely walks through the forest and the estuary provides a great spot for swimmers.

Palm Beach is one of the best places for Wind-Surfing along the coast and is also a great place for surfing and kite surfing. If you are visiting the beach on the weekend you may want to stop in at the local art & craft market where there is an array of goods on offer.
