About Ifafa Beach

The picturesque Ifafa Beach is found in the KwaZulu Natal South Coast. Ifafa is Zulu expression meaning ‘place of sparkling waters’ and when you visit the beach you will see just why it is named as such. Splash around in the shallow waters of the lagoon or enjoy watching your children paddle around in the water having a fun afternoon.

If you feel like being a bit more active then why not try your hand at fishing and cast your rod out to see what you can catch. The area has an abundant bird life so when you’ve got your paddle boat out onto the water don’t forget your binoculars so that you can spot which birds are flying in the sky.

With two viewpoints you’ll have no excuse not to spot dolphins and whales during season.
